We are so glad you are interested in being a GOON! We would love to introduce you to our GOON Brother ambassador program where you get the opportunity to create a GOON Brother chapter in YOUR city. We are constantly looking for people who have a passion for inspiring unity and generosity in their own communities.  

 

What it takes to be a GOON

No doubt, we are looking for ambassadors that will grow our organization but most importantly, we are looking for people who share our passion to inspire unity and generosity throughout the world. Do you have what it takes to be a GOON Brother? Below are the three qualities we look for in a GOON.

 

 

- - - - 1        Know Your Community

One of the biggest keys to being a GOON Brother is having a strong connection with the place you live. Knowing your community, having positive relationships with local business owners and having a passion for local non-profit organizations is important. These three ingredients will help you as you navigate this new journey as a GOON Brothers Ambassador

- - - - 2        Social Media

The Goon Brothers are driven through social media and our ambassadors must have a strong social media presence. This includes regularly posting/updating your city's social media pages. Hosting scavenger hunts and other GOON Brothers events on social media, and highlighting the good taking place in your town.

- - - - 3      Salt & Light

Jesus uses the images of salt and light during his Sermon on the Mount. These illustrations coupled with his teachings give us a clear understanding of how we should conduct ourselves on a regular basis, as well as spotlight the importance of discipleship. Our number one goal with this organization is to lead others to Christ. As an ambassador, our expectations are that your actions and behaviors on social media and in the real world will be a reflection of Christ.

Requirements for a GOON Brother
 

We are not a typical organization so we do not have a typical job requirement list for being a Goon Ambassador. We are looking for people that are excited about bringing a positive light into their city and are willing to put the work in to make it happen. This can obviously look a lot of different ways but the one thing all of our affiliates have in common is that they are positive and they are driven. Additionally, our Ambassadors must be at least 18 years of age and they must be active on social media. Experience with advertising and small business work is helpful but not necessary.
